Pastor Chris Kwakpovwe (The Publisher of Our Daily Manna with his wife Rev. Mrs. Flora Kwakpovwe during a media chat after the Uyo Anointing Service in Akwa-Ibom State. |
All roads led to Uyo
Township Stadium in Udo-Umana, Uyo, in Akwa-Ibom State for the maiden edition
of Uyo Anointing Service. The programme, which witnessed the convergence of faithful
men of God from Abia State, Cross-Rivers State and Rivers State, was respectively tagged: ‘STAGNATION: I am not your CANDIDATE’. IN FACT, PEOPLE FLEW IN
FROM OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY AND BEYOND. The event was the annual interdenominational World
Anointing Service organised by Manna Prayer Mountain Ministry where Pastor Kwakpovwe, the DAILY
MANNA PUBLISHER and Editor-in-Chief of Our Daily Manna) holds sway
as the General Overseer.
It was a Deja Vu on the D-Day as the atmosphere was
thrown into a frenzy at the arrival of the man of God, DAILY MANNA PUBLISHER, into the stadium arena of THOUSANDS for the
anointing service. A thunderous
ovation rented the air as the prophet of God mounted the podium. He started
releasing ballistic missiles and bullet points of prayers, compounding the woes
of the devil in the spiritual realm with prophetic declarations and
proclamations.
Soul-thrilling praise and worship songs were
rendered by the Uyo Mass Choir. Victor Felix and Uduakobong Umoh, the guest
artists, did not disappoint as they dictated the tunes with sonorous voices for
the revival which left participants dancing and rejoicing profusely.
The man of God, clad in black suit with gold tie,
changed the people’s impression and perception of his personality when he said
“The reason why I am here is not because of me but because of God. If you are
expecting from me, then I have failed.” Delivering his sermon on
‘Breaking the Yoke of Stagnation’ and quoting from the Book of Deuteronomy
chapter 1 Vs 6-8, the man of God said “Destiny can be chained but cannot be
changed.”
ANTHONIA!
The highlight of the
programme was WHEN THE MAN OF GOD CALLED OUT A WOMAN BY NAME “ANTHONIA”. He
said, “ANTHONIA, you are in this crowd. You planned to divorce your husband
just after this programme. Don’t do it. By this time next year, your baby shall
make A WORLDWIDE NOISE.” After 15 years in a CHILDLESS marriage, ANTHONIA truly wanted to get out of her
marriage. SHE RAN OUT AND TO THE SHOCK OF EVERYONE LAST YEAR, SHE GAVE BIRTH
and got pregnant again!
There was also the practical
and dramatic rolling on the mantle by the man of God to be used by the crowd
for prayer. He declared the mantle ‘A
Mantle of Passover’. The oils were anointed and the anti-stagnation creed
was declared.
THE
PROPHETIC AGAIN! LOTS OF TESTIMONIES! MONICA
WAS CALLED!
Instantaneous miracles were
recorded. They experienced an epiphany, a spiritual
flash that changed their lives for good. Among them was the PROPHETIC
DELIVERANCE OF ONE “MONICA” FROM MARITAL STAGNATION AS THE MAN OF GOD CALLED
HER CASE. HER BLIND MOTHER WOULD NOT LET HER MARRY BECAUSE SHE WAS HER
ASSISTANT AND HER AID. As the HOLY GHOST moved, loss of properties were
restored, the yoke of miscarriages scattered and there were lots of INSTANT
HEALINGS!
THE
PASTOR AND HIS SUCIDE STORY!
Mundane minds could not have
imagined that Pastor Kwakpovwe, the
man at the centre of the Manna Prayer Mountain, was destined to become a man of
God whom kings and leaders of nations would come to reverence nor could they
have imagined the grandeur of the status where the grace of God would bring him
to, considering the years when things were so rough to the extent of trying to
commit suicide until God showed him mercy and gave him the vision of ODM (Our
Daily Manna) ON THE DAY HE CHOSE TO KILL HIMSELF. Wonderful Jesus!
The event was graced by pastors, special guests and
important dignitaries who included: Elder George Akpabio, Dr. Mrs. Stella Usen
(Managing Director, Share Grace), Dr. Mrs. Ekaette Peters, Lady Ema Ebong
(Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Special Duties), Hon. Chris Udofia, a former
Chairman in Uyo Local Government and Pastor Mrs. Lawrence Essien amongst
others.
