BISHOP DR. CHRIS KWAKPOVWE CHARGES FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ON ROAD, POWER SECTOR REFORM

Bishop Dr. Chris & Rev. Mrs. Ejiro Kwakpovwe
The General Overseer of Manna Prayer Mountain Worldwide and the publisher of Our Daily Manna Bishop Dr. Chris Kwakpovwe added another year last week November 15th 2015. The thanksgiving ceremony was held amidst pump and pageantry. Speaking to the press after the ceremony, Bishop Kwakpovwe, a strong motivational speaker, who believes that, failures and mistakes are the pillars of success, said that in order to effectively address the plight of the teeming poor populace, the Nigerian government has been urged to imbibe the virtue of sincerity in its dealings. “Cut cost of governance, and shun frivolities if it must move the country forward.” He added.

The present administration was also charged to delve into few projects it could readily complete and leave as legacies. Founder of Manna Prayer Mountain, Bishop Chris Kwakpovwe, made the appeal at a thanksgiving service to mark his 55th birthday in Ogudu, Lagos State.

"President Buhari seems to be slow to start, but FG should be sincere and cut cost of governance. Frivolity is what is killing Nigerians and the African man. On Political Patronage, he said “Let's cut down on this and rather increase spending on capital projects like road and power (infrastructure),"   Bishop Dr. Chris Kwakpovwe, who also unveiled the prayer ministry's plan to hold crusade on January 29 at TBS in Lagos with the theme: "Jehovah Ebenezer, wipe away my tears," said the two sectors are critical for national development. He therefore called on the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, to leverage on his reputation as a performer in his new responsibilities, and not disappoint Nigerians' expectations of at least steady power supply soonest.

According to the cleric, "We can have 24 hours stable power supply. If roads and NEPA (power) are fixed, Nigeria is fixed (and) all our people abroad will come back." He said where an administration focuses its energies on road, another on power or the like, in no time Nigeria would be a "tourist attraction" drawing investors and tourists from all over the world, especially with its "envied all-round summer time."

Using the medium, Bishop Kwakpovwe urged the politicians not to abandon their role to direct impactful leadership in the nation, the cleric applauded the anti-corruption drive of the Muhammadu Buhari government, but cautioned that it not be seen as favouring one party over others. A man with a unique heart of compassion and a strong vision born out of the deep furnace of affliction, he believes that toil (hard work), stubborn determination, daily solitude and prayers are the engine rooms of every true-life success story! This is Bishop (Dr) Chris, the author and publisher of the daily faith lifter, the daily terrorist of satan/his cohorts and the amazing daily dream lifter - Our Daily Manna!
